Lira Clinical | ESG Initiative in Mesa Didyma, Chios

With the full funding of Lira Clinical and the coordination of Mastiha Roots, a generator was donated to the Mastiha Producers’ Cooperative of Mesa Didyma in southern Chios — a village that has faced severe wildfires in recent years. The initiative strengthens the community’s operational readiness in emergency situations while actively contributing to the protection of the Mastiha trees, which sustain the island’s economy, biodiversity, and cultural heritage.

Beyond the donation, Lira Clinical also adopted a Mastiha tree, reinforcing its meaningful connection to the land and its producers. This initiative reflects the core mission of Mastiha Roots: to design targeted ESG initiatives that create long-term value for local communities through the pillars of Tradition, Sustainability, Livelihood, and Biodiversity.
